Sourdough Rendezvous

So this is some memories we had from the Sourdough Rendezvous back in February. This festival is Whitehorse's biggest festival of the year most seem to say, and it was quite an awesome time! For those of you who do not know a sourdough is the term given to anyone who survives the Yukon winter. Right above is the Can-Can Girls doing their show at the 202.

Haha oh man probably not this guys best picture moment. He was one of the Sourdough Sam competitors.

Lau, Kyle (my coworker) and me!

All of these snow sculptures were amazingly detailed.

This was the dog pull where the 1st place dog managed to pull about 700lbs of dog food across the snow.
This was the flour packing contest where you need to throw a pack of flour and walk across a few metres. The winner managed to haul about 700lbs.

These are the keystone cops, any guy without beards and girls without girders must purchase a button and pin it on their shirt. If they are caught without any of these, they are thrown in jail and must sing some weird song and pay $10 to get out.
